With many years of experience in positions ranging from Server, Flight Attendant to an Operational Manager, my experience is irreplaceable. My education enhanced my experience and provided fundamental knowledge to improve performance and well-being in the workplace as well as knowledge to strategically enhance the guidance and management of people. My focus of study can enrich an organization and employees.

Past experiences shined a light on my mission in life, but not how I was going to get there. I was fortunate enough to begin looking for an answer that led me to the psychology of the workplace. This kind of study to me is so important because most of us spend just as much time working as we do personally. I wanted to know how to find a good balance which many have come to know as "Work Life Balance". More importantly I wanted to find a way to have work enrich my life, and to walk into a culture of people who are like minded, but also diverse.

Surprisingly some organization are not familiar with the study of IO. However, this does not mean organizations don't practice the core competencies. IO is recognized as Division 14 of the APA, and siop.org is dedicated to the science of a better workforce. 

Industrial Organization Psychology  focuses on attitude, theory, measurement and change. 

Many people will see the word Leadership and automatically think boss, or manager,  but this is not necessarily true. This area of study develops skills and leadership, no matter what role the employee fulfills. Think, do you know a leader who has the power for others to listen to, admire and follow without a title of manager?

Organizational Leadership is a multi-disciplinary study of management, communication and organizational psychology.
